My Projects
Activities & Awards
During my freshman year, I was a member of the Robotics Club where I assembled a delivery robot and proudly contributed to showing hundreds of high school kids the robotic games for McNeese E-Week. At the end of my junior year, I participated in the ICPC programming competition as a member of the Association for Computing Machinery. I learned about teamwork to solve advanced computing problems and am grateful for having been part of the first teams at McNeese to achieve excellent performance.
Moreover, I have had the privilege of serving as the President of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) for two years. In that role, I lead our student community with the mission of fostering passion, talent, and promoting diversity in mathematics, science, and engineering. Our chapter has been involved in multiple activities along with university freshman events and participated in conferences and competitions outside of schools. In March 2023, I proudly stood at the Ole Miss conference to receive second place in the Integration Bee competition hosted by the Mathematical Association of America, where I competed among the top 46 students from universities across Louisiana and Mississippi. In April 2023, I was inducted into the Pi Mu Epsilon honor society by the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
